BJ74 clutch slave cylinder discontinued

So if the wrong slave was used with a shorter 70.5 mm rod as opposed to
the correct 76 mm rod - would the activation point of the pedal be different?
I think mine has the wrong rod length as the clutch doesn't disengage until the
pedal gets closer to the floor.
Longer rod, earlier activation? ie: closer to top of pedal movement?

Actually, the overall length is similar, the longer rod corresponds to the shorter piston and vice-versa. The big difference is the piston diameter difference which will cause some differences in engagement, etc.

The smaller piston will have a greater "throw" over the same length of pedal position change, so it could still very well be your problem. Let us know if we can help :D

CSN60140N Back in Stock!

We have been seeing these trickling in 1 or 2 at a time and often just servicing existing back orders. We finally received a large quantity. All backorders have shipped and I'm left with some stock

Hey mate, any chance you still have one of these in stock? My master cyl just failed last week which means the slave won't be far behind it. How do i go about ordering one of these?

All good. Found the site and ordered one. You need to look into your international postage rates. They're absurd to say the least.

What is your order number? I see a handful of them sold in August but nothing international. Rates should be standard USPS. As that part is barely too larger to fit in the Small Priority International Box, it would go Medium which looks like $89.85 as of late.

I ended up placing an order and had it sent to another supplier in the states that will throw it in with my next order with them instead. Will work out a heap cheaper

$90 is crazy to send that to Australia. To send it from here back to the states it would cost about $35 aus.

Shipping FROM North America to Australia is easily exponentially more expensive than shipping from Australia to North America.

Understood, I appreciate the order. Unfortunately we have zero control on the rates of the US Postal Service. We could ship using their slower means but experience has shown the lack of tracking and number of lost articles isn’t worth the savings for either party.

I see one Australian dealer can send slave cyls (aftermarket) to North America for $111 + $10AUD air delivery. How they can do that I do not know, unless they are sending it direct from China, or the part is already in the US. Or maybe they are using an inflated sale price to offset the delivery cost.

Ive had super cheap shipping from the USPS before. It either didn't show up or showed up almost year later.
Another time I sent some MC handlebars to Illinois via seamail from Australia for $15, they said 6-8 weeks but they arrived 5 days later. Fast ship for sure.
