I wanna buy an extra set of wheels and was wondering if it is 6 x 5.5 pattern?

Are all cuisers the same

I have a 1986 BJ70

yes...all cruisers up to 97 are 6x5.5 bolt pattern...the only thing you want to watch for is make sure you get wheels with backspacing that works for your rig...

If the backspacing is the same as a 60... it's 3.5"

Thanks guys I will ask the guy if the backspacing is 3.5"

My winter wheels are from a 4runner(stock 235-75-R15), they appear to be identical to 'cruiser wheels. If the backspacing(offset?) is wrong you will find that the inside balance wieghts will be knocked off by the tie rod end, if so, JC Whitney has a spacer plate to put between the spindle and the wheel which will cure this.
Your english is just fine , colis- tabernak la!:)sacrement!

I Would say the same for your french !

Where did you learn those fabulous words ?

With a 16" backspacing is less of an issue. I'm sure your already remembered that though

Chevy wheels have a 4" backspacing...but some cruiser guys use them with wheel spacers because they are commonly available and have the same bolt pattern. It's hard to find wheels that are backspaced the proper 3.5". My OEM Cruiser Toyota 16x6 steel wheels are offset 3.75".

The Unique 21-7760 chev wheels does have 4" BS as Stone says, and cleared the calipers just fine. I ran them on my BJ42 for years with no spacers and no clearance issues with the springs. Go over 34" tires, and you need to being the wheels out more to clear the springs on turn; hence some people running 1.5" bolt on spacers.

If you do run the 16x7 with 4" BS, you will lose 1" track width.

I have in the past ordered custom BS wheels from a dealer in Wash St. Costs about $15.00usd more per wheel, and takes a while to get in. The last time I placed an order they could move the inner no more then 1/2". making a BS of 3.5" on the 16x7 wheel

I am going to investigate the 16x8 Unique again soon, and see how much they can move them. I believe the Unique 16x8 (21-7860) was 4.5" BS, and they could move the same 1/2" last time I checked.

I do have four (4) Unique 16x7 with 3.5" BS wheels, in boxes at the shop. I do need to order another custom one soon, to complete the set.
