A quick clip of my 70 getting the suspension stretched right out and groaning as two opposite wheels lift. Decent axle articulation for a leaf sprung vehicle but the 80 I was wheeling with that day didn't lift a wheel with the coils and long wheel base. I really need a lower crawl ratio:rolleyes:

Those damned 80s make everything look too easy! :D

Nice vids, sick Dart, too. Did you sell that a little while ago, thought I saw it on Craigslist. What size tire do you run on your 70?

33's on the 70 and yes, the burning of my 80 forced the sale of the GTS :frown: I just added a couple more vid's from Vedder mountain yesterday. I may head back next weekend, there are too many trails to explore in one day.

33x9.50-15's I take it? with that lift did you need to do any mods to the truck to keep the driveshaft angle correct, etc? was the GTS a numbers matching 340 car? maybe you can take a noob out on some trails when I get my lift in, show me how to wheel my truck properly? :)

Nice videos, thanks for uploading them. I just wish they were longer

I think G&S Cruisers has a used OME lift they are selling from a JDM 71 they are selling. They also had a set of 35" wheels and tires from that same truck. I don't believe there were any mods other than the lift. I go out most weekends and your welcome to come out any time. I'm no guru but I'll part with what little knowledge I have. I'm heading out this weekend if your interested. Get ahold of G&S and see if they have that OME kit. The GTS was a real 340 car, it ran high 11's and was my dream car but ......... life happens. The 70 is more family friendly and more fun for everyone. The GTS cost $40 an hour in gas and ran on 104 octane where as the 70 costs $40 for a whole weekend. PM me if you want to head out this week end.

I have a Belton 3.5" kit in storage waiting to go in that I picked up from Sheldon in the springtime. Thanks for the offer, appreciate that. That Dart was sweet, my first car in high school was a '74 Scamp with the 318, not fast but a fun cruiser. Not sure if I can make it out this weekend, I should probably look at getting my lift done first. Will talk to you, thanks!
