BJ40 Water Pump.

I have done some googling and plenty of searching on here for a source for a pre-80 1B diesel water pump and I cannot seem to find anyone selling them. I tried Toyota who has it listed but they apparently cannot sell or get them in the states. I can get the newer style pump, as shown below beside the style pump we need but no dice on the older ones. Anyone got any suggestions? Any help would be massively appreciated.

I have a 79 B engine with fan clutch. Just bought a new fan clutch from cruiser connection. Have you checked there?

@Zenwithin Thanks for the help! I was able to find one new from SOR, The only tricky part was the fitting for the heater hose outlet. which they ended up having on a used truck.

Did your model have the fan clutch? Also, did you use the one pictured on the right. I believe that is for the 3B and won't fit the B

You are correct on that being a 3B pump! I ordered the pump based upon year of the truck only to figure out someone has tub swapped this truck somewhere down the line

The 1 B in the truck did not have a fan with a clutch.

Got her assembled and back together mostly.

Yeah, unfortunately I have the pump with a fan clutch. Fortunately, I don't need a replacement yet, but it is different from yours and unobtainium so far. Probably have to rebuild it when the time comes.

I was looking at rebuilding them, because I thought I was going to have to rebuild ours. If I remember right I was able to find bearings that would work for a fan clutch style pump. Try part number 054-024F-1B-1 from SOR. It looks like it could be for a fan clutch setup.
