never to be outdone, WEC has a meeting tonight as well and the MillerLite try-out girls will be there... well... we'll be where they are, but it sounds better the first way.

BamaFJ.... there is never nothing wheeling discussed at a WEC meeting... we do our best to keep it as filthy as possible. In fact, last time WEC members showed to a DixieLand meeting, i didn't show up to work the next day... and terryjmatthew had a large bar tab show up... I think he bought everyone's hooters.... but fun times were had by all.

That's one way to increase participation. Introduce some of those ladies to toyotas and get them more involved. Lets see if you can get at least one picture with both a land cruiser (any model) and a girl (must be miller lite model)...both preferably in their 20s, although older will be accepted (I don't discriminate). Bonus points for group shots

I think we pretty much had a stony lonesome reunion...I was hoping to get a few more people that we haven't met yet. I had a good time either way, but I think as an Alabama group we need to try and coordinate something between all of us, not just in a few places around the state.

We discussed a ride at Mountainside possible for September, but we need to find out the most optimal date for a lot of us to get together. I can do any of the last weekends, although I think that the park is only open the 1st and 3rd weekend of the month. May have that mix up.

We may be able to rent the park out for a weekend , but we would need to have a commitment from a lot of folks to insure that the price is not to much per individual.

So who all would be interested in making this happen in September?

new tires & wheels

Ok... we have to plan another ride somewhere so I can see what the new tires will do. A little hard to tell in the pic...but 33*12.5*15 tires with rock crawler wheels...I still had to use spacers on the front due to clearance issues with the brake caliper. Did not seem real bad, but was certainly an issue. May try and clearance the calipers later on and remove the spacers if possible. Tires are KM2 MT, no noticeable road noise at all...at least over what the cruiser makes normally.

I think if you go the route of formally joining the form (silver star) your maillbox size is increased.
