Up for sale, a partial Howell TBI kit for the 2F. This came with my truck when I purchased it a few months ago and I am not going to use it. Here is the good...Parts included: Throttle body with injectors, TPS and IAC sensors. TBI to lower intake manifold adapter, ECU with proper 2F "chip", wiring harness, air filter and spacer.
Here is the Bad, this is not a ready to run kit. I would recommend purchasing this only if you are familiar with the GM ECU and fuel injection in general. I have printed off the Howell instructions (pretty much just an overview of how it works, not vehicle specific). There is a ton of information regarding the installation of this kit on our vehicles out the on the interwebs.
Parts you will need to complete this installation: Fuel pump, fuel lines, coolant temp sensor, intake air temp sensor, map sensor, 02 sensor, HEI style distributor conversion or module and coil from a 4.3 Chevy, and throttle cable hook up parts. I installed a basic seal kit in the throttle body and had the injectors cleaned.
Asking $200 plus actual shipping, this should give you a good start on FI for your cruiser at a reasonable price.
