Bimini fix - no more flapping on the freeway! (3 Viewers)

I was tired of the bimini flapping against roll cage so I took it in to a local upholstery shop and had them sew in some velcro 2" ties on it. This was a much needed upgrade, it is so much better now! If you are experiencing this would highly recommend this mod, cost was about $90 total which included ordering 10 2" velcro straps from amazon. Upholstery shop charged me $75.

The only reason I can think of is every roll cage is a little different, but definitely much needed. It was amazing how much air would develop under that bimini at 35 mph+ the slapping would almost give you a headache.

Here is the link, I had to cut them down and have upholstery shop sew on the velcro piece.

The local stores and fabric/sewing centers should carry plenty of the Velcro rolls including the industrial-level types , pretty cheap too .
