Looks great! How’s the ride?
Ride is awesome, now just having some alignment and torque steer gremlins. Had it aligned immediately after install with stock wheels and tires and rode like a dream. As soon as I put the new wheels and larger tires on I had "loose" feel and bad torque steer to the right. Had it aligned 2 more times since, drives great now cruising, but under acceleration now have torque steer to the left... smh

Looks great! Who did the lift and alignment? Which rear coils, model #?

Hopefully this doesn't come across as hijacking the thread. I figure it's relevant to add my current situation into this conversation.

Mine is still at the dealership waiting for the replacement head unit to arrive, but that's another story...

While it's sitting at the dealership, I figured I'd get going on my lift. A month or so ago, I bought the same Bilstein 6112 / 5160 / Spring set.

I had them install just the front and rear shocks, without the Bilstein springs in the back, and set the fronts on the bottom perch. This is the result...

After seeing the pics with the springs installed, and perch four in the front, I'm about to have them tear it apart again, and install the springs, to get it higher, and redo the front on perch four. I think raoulduke101's setup looks really good.

I keep telling myself that it's only money.

To my eye, even on the bottom perch in the front, it already looks like it's sitting a bit low in the back, and that's before loading it up. What do you folks think?

After staring at this thread for a long time, I'm thinking that going for the springs and perch four with a set of 285/65R18 Open Country AT/IIIs would look pretty darn sweet.

I think it looks good as is, but more importantly what is your target use? As it sits, when the rear is loaded, the stance will not be as Mr. T intended. Air bags or spacers will help with that.

So this picture is perch 1 with stock rear springs? I think it looks good. How loaded will you be during use?

I have this setup and it looks/rides great loaded

What offset on the wheels?

Yep, this is the lowest setting up front, and stock springs in the rear.

If I'm honest, my intended use is road trips to hikes / mountain biking / ski trips, and may end up with a camper trailer at some point, but don't have one now. We pull a 20' cuddy with our stock 2013 LC, and it sags a good bit.

I think just a bit more spring in the rear, to handle a load of road trip gear and a cargo box, maybe with air bags, might be the ticket.

I'm on the fence about tire size too. I do think I want Open Country AT3s, but am a little undecided about sticking with the stock size, or moving up to 285/65R18s. The extra weight/price may not be necessary for the kind of stuff I see myself doing.

No rock crawling, but hopefully plenty of snowy / gravel roads to cool spots.

I agree with you, it starts to look like backward rake. I had originally considered doing what you have done here, but when I saw other pics with perch 1 in front and stock rear springs, I decided that wasn't for me. I ended up going perch 4 in front and the Bilstein rear springs. Looks perfect in my opinion, not obviously lifted, but not as slouchy as stock either.

As do I. Had several conversations with Jefo 13 and I did the same set up. VERY happy with the set up. I'm on 285/65/18 BFG KO2 AT tires.
(Thanks again Jefo for all of your inputs)
Had my install done by Go Big in Ventura. GREAT shop!

That is likely contributing to your issues.
Oh yeah for sure, as soon as I slap the stocks back on all the problems go away. I do however have an odd, sharp, metal on metal creek, intermittent at full left and right lock. When it happens, which is rare, you can feel a slight shift

Adding a few pics now that I’ve had the lift for a week and it’s settled some. Specs- Installed by Duggy’s Garage in houston. Great to work with as always. 4th perch, SPC UCAs, OME medium .75” rear springs, 285/65r18 BFG with NO spacers.

I pull a boat so 1.5” rake. Measurement to highest point of roof rack on level ground is 6’-7”. I wanted to be below 6’-8” for parking garages.

I like the way it handles and rides. The ride is stiffer but way more controlled. E rated tires contributes to this as well. Changed suspension at 165k (owned since 50k) so I’m sure the OEM suspension was worn out. Doesn’t feel anymore top heavy than before.

I’ll post then alignment numbers later but it is really dialed in with the new UCAs. EDIT- now attached

Entire setup is highly recommended so far. I’ll be pulling my boat to the coast later in the month so I’m interested to see how that goes. With the stiffer rear suspension, I’m betting it’s going to pull better than before (which wasn’t bad to begin with except for squat).

Other notes- added the running boards back until I pick a slider option. Still need to reinstall the front mud flaps. Will install front replacement bumper in near future.
