Hey everyone, I’m wrapping up my knuckle rebuild tomorrow and I’m replacing my shocks while I’m there. But I ran in to a slight issue. I can’t figure out the washer and bushing order.

The previous shocks were installed incorrectly and had the bushing sitting directly on the frame with no washer. So I am unable to just put the shocks on in the same way that they came off.

I can’t for the life of me figure out which way the shock bushings and washers go. The bushings do not fit the bottom of the shock at all and none of the washers index into each-other like seen on some other threads.
If anyone runs these or could help me figure it out, please send me a picture or a drawing or explain it to me somehow. Any help is appreciated, really need it!

And here’s there diagram for the Typ13 that’s on the front shock. (Still doesn’t help me at all)

You may be missing a few items if the drawing does not make sense.
I have never dealt with the that series Bilstein but the drawing seems to indicate (from top down):
Nut
Flat washer
Bushing
Shock stem vs a cylindrical spacer
Suspension shock mounting location with thru hole
Washer with a raised circular area to center in suspension thru hole
Bushing
Flat washer

Hope this helps.
