my concer was about the weight !

and the length and the vibration and the busted drivetrain.

Most Japanese diesel truck motors have their max torque around 1500-1700 rpm and top speed is at 3000rpm.

The landcruiser diesels like the 12HT and 1HDT engines are designed and tuned to be more like a gasser and get their max torque at around 2300rpm and can rev to 3500+

I'd seriously pimp one in a ULWB 75 series tow-truck but I guess I will have to settle with a HD of some sort

The engine comes with the trans so you would just have to hack up a part-time 4WD case and use a big truck axle in the back and you'll be good to go. Unless you have monster tires you'd be losing traction before you break something if you use a serious front axle.

With these weight you need to think in balance it .. I thought a custom chasis :D D60 front and 14 bolts rear ... or MOG axles .. :grinpimp: 44" - 47" tires
