Bib light bulb size? (1 Viewer)

Just as the title says, what are the sizes of the bulbs for the bib lights on a 1969? Did a quick search so don't flame me.

My 78 manual shows the tail light as 1034. I believe this is the same lamp. Wattage is 8/27. Only the 8 watt element of the two is used. The pins on the base are offset. It is a clear bulb and not amber. This has always been a dual element light. On the FJ25 it was also the turn signal. The FJ40 always had turn signals on the fenders but instead of changing the design Toyota just dropped the wire to the second element.

1157 is correct. Curiously, only the low watt filament is wired. I discovered this when I put LEDs in and it looked horrid. A bit of solder over the two contacts put the power to the brighter contact and, voilá, bright LED running lights.

check this old thread out (one of my favourite mods)
instead of u soldering them together you could of did this . i love this mod .
also 1157A amber bulbs for anybody with the clear lenses.
