.....Can somebody explain the difference between these two AT tires?

33-1250R15/C2 108R W
33-1250R-15/C2 RWL

Call and ask them. You got me.

The difference between the two tires is the load rating. I believe the 108R W has a higher load rating than the RWL tire.

Yeah, I had found those pages and still couldn't answer my question. These are descriptors that I got off of Discount Tire's website. I'm buying the tires tomorrow so I'll ask them.

isn't RWL for raised white lettering?

as in white lettering or black.... mount them black lettering out or white lettering out..white usually costs more!

MrZero, what did you pay per tire for these? and did you ever find a resolution to this question? thanks!

You know, I never did get the question resolved, I just told Discount Tire that I wanted 33x12.5 mounted whitewall in and paid around $900 for 5 tires and the instant replacement warranty for each tire. They gave me a couple "end of the month" discounts so I pretty much ended up with 5 tires for the price of 4 (including all the taxes, warranties and mounting\balancing fees) Original price of per tire was $160 I think.

Damn..that's a great deal Zero. Which location did you go to?

i found those for $130 a piece shipped to my door, so thats $520 for 4 or $650 for 5. I asked about the number thing too, and I guess one of them is the old BFG part number.

Part #56340 is the new number.

And $130.00 per tire to the door is a hell of a price.

yeah, if anyone one wants the website i'll tell them, as soon as i order mine tomorrow morning :grinpimp:

Dave, that was at the Discount Tire in Irving so iaintscared could have the tires mounted on the wheels he painted for me during my Vortec conversion. I would assume if you called around at the end of the month to any of the DT's in Austin, you could find somebody willing to do some similar wheeling and dealing...

Geez, $130 is unreal.........I will say though that as tough as the BFG AT's are, I am glad to have the replacement warranty and other warrantied services that can be redeemed at any Discount Tire franchise....

what sort of warranty did you get? i was looking at the BFG warranty and if you don't have a BFG certified shop rotate your tires every xxxx miles, it voids the warranty.
