Looking at the wheel/tire database it looks like 285/65R18 BFG KO2's will fit my stocker. (currently rolling on P285/60R18).

Is this the LARGEST BFG KO2 that I can run without issues on my stock truck? Anyone with a pic or two would be helpful too.

I know there are other great tires out there but I loved my BFG KO on my old 100 and I love them on my 60 so I'm staying with them.

Thanks
Carl

You're gonna love the KO2s.

Here's a database of tires/wheels/stock/lifted regarding whether specific combinations rub on the 200:

200 Series Tire Size Database - Google Sheets

The above link opens a great google docs spreadsheet-style file on-line...and this excellent file is contained in the first post to this thread:
200 Series Tire and Wheel Size Database

Lots of great info there. Note the column indicating lift, and look for 0" (no lift) combos.

Good choice. Get the 285s and you won't regret it. 305/65/18 (next size up) is likely to give you fits with the UCA and other rub points. You can probably find several pictures of the 285s on stock setup via search. Good luck.

In my opinion you will be the happiest with the 275/70/18. I just put them on mine and they work great with no rubbing issues.

Thanks guys!!

i concur with the 275-70-18. That is what Im running on my 08. I would post a pic but mine is white too so it would look virtually the same!

I'm running Cooper ATW 275/70r18's on my 200 with zero rubbing. I will say that the KO2's seem to be a bit larger than the KO1's; I replaced the 315/75r16 KO1 with KO2 on my 100 and the KO2 rubs a bit while the KO1 never rubbed at all. If I were to do it again, I would do then BFG over the Cooper, but the Cooper gets better ratings in winter weather and I live in AK so I did the ATW for my daily driver. Also if I were to do it again, I would drop down to a 305 to prevent rubbing on the 100.

Does anyone know what is the largest spare tire size that would fit under a 2011 200? I am running 275/70/18 BFG KO2s. I am kicking around getting a rear ARB bumper with tire carrier but wouldn't mind holding out for a little while if I could carry a 275/70/18 spare under the truck.

I would be interested in this as well. I am running the same size on my 100 and just noticed that my spare is rubbing a suspension component on the rear axle (long bar that goes the length of the axle, not sure the technical name). I am not happy that it is rubbing and I don't want similar issues on my LX. I tried out the 275 70R18 Goodyear Duratrack tire on my front end this weekend and although it fits, I will probably be going with something a bit smaller to avoid any rubbing when compressed and also to make sure that the spare fits, as I will not be purchasing a bumper for the back end of the LX. A Slee rear bumper may be in my future on my 100 though, if I can get passed the price!

its name is the panhard bar

I called it a different name, when I bumped my head on it trying to see if I could get any more room behind my hitch.

I feel your pain - that was my obstacle as well when I tried to stuff a 35" under there - not happening

Yeah, I would contend that even a 33" (275 70R18) does not properly fit, since it rubs the panhard. (Thanks for the technical clarification too! F'n Son of a #$%#$ is probably not the correct name.)

I asked a similar question in another thread. @Markuson said this in reference to a 295/70/R17 (which is smaller in ever dimention than a 275/70/18) fitting in the spare tire location:

I just checked mine. You should have no problem. It might ride up onto a small guide toward the rear differential...but there is room even if it overlaps that a wee bit. You'd probably just want to make sure you crank it tight when you raise it with the chain. I'd do it without concern. Other here can chime in...

If you carry air you can deflate and fit quite a bit in there.

My 285 65 18 spare fits fine on stock rims fwiw on my 2011 LC

I have 275 65 18's on now. The BFG 275 70 18's are 1.09" taller. The spare has at least 2" clearance from the pan hard with the 275 65 18's. The clearance at the bumper/hitch is tight. As long as the tire can sit in the spare location, moved back toward the pan hard rod, the 275 70 18 should fit.
