BFG KO2??? What's the biggest for stock wheels?

The low tire pressure sensor/dash alarms are very annoying. I am hoping the 275/70/18 fits with no issue. Going to order that puppy on Amazon prime shortly

275/70/18 - anyone successfully stuff this in the spare location yet?

What are you 275/70/18 guys currently using for a spare?

Maybe a stupid question, but how horrible is it to run the smaller stock spare in a emergency? (As in to the tire fix-it shop)

275/70/18 fit just fine with no rubbing and also fit in the spare spot under the truck with no modifications needed.

I didn't crawl under there this time, but according to my tire guy this bracket (pic below) was preventing the tire from fitting. Once removed, two bolts, no problem. His belief is that bracket is to keep the stock spare from moving around.

Great. Thanks. That should be easy to get out of the way.

I'm trying to make this very decision now and struggling. I have a 2015 with 4,000 miles and the stock Dunlop's suck. Got stuck in the snow twice last week and once in a little bit of mud and slush. All four wheels spun like I was in grease.

I would like advice on 275/70's or 285/65's and why people choose one size over the other. Looks like I could save 50 bucks a tire with the 275's and I think I'd like the fact that they are slightly taller but do they look narrow? Wish I could see both in person...

Anyone running 285/70/18? If so, how are they with your 200 and which brand and model did you get for your lifted LC?

I second this request for feedback! Anyone with advice on comparing the 275/70R18 vs 285/65R18 on a 200 series and assuming a KO2 tire!

I can confirm you can get a BFG KO2 LT305/65/18 (33.6”) to fit with (and without) 12.5g LRA tank. Albeit quite tight. So you would have no issues with a LT285/65/18 which is a full inch shorter.

So just to beat this dead horse a bit further...

275/70/18 KO2 should fit in the spare location and we have a handful of owners that have run this size without issue on stock suspension/UCAs. Did I summarize that correctly? Haha

thanks all for putting up with me 👍

It does fit in spare location with no issue.

Nor any issues on stock suspension either (albeit haven't hit trails yet).

Just got mine mounted a week ago.

Awesome thank you!

I have Duratrac 275/70-18 (there are 2 versions, I have the taller one) on stock wheels, no rubbing issues - I do have the OEM 1" spacer
Also, spare fits just fine

Yeah I have a very low garage, so I don’t think a lift is in the cards. Thar being said a 275/70/18 would give me an extra 0.75-1 inch of ground clearance (if my back of the napkin math was right). Would prefer wider but 275 is enough, at least for me anyway haha
