Anyone running this particular tire? Comments, thoughts?

Is it "better" or advantageous in any way to just go with one of the more common 33" sizes (285/75 or 305/70) ?

Thanks.....

I just put 285/75/16 BFG A/T's on my stock height truck last week and I really like them. I wanted to go with 295's but it was going to cost me an extra $10.00 a tire and then an extra $150 for shipping to get them to my local place. I don't think you can go wrong with either tire.

The 295 is slightly taller than the 305 or 285. .2" or 6 revs per mile. It is D rated like the 305 and the 285 is avail in either a D or E rating. Realistically, i doubt you would notice the difference between it and either of the others but....:meh:

After 3 sets of BFGs, 2 AT's and 1 MT, I'll never run BFG tires again. They don't come or stay round and require frequent balancing. I've had 2 of the 4 on my 100 series replaced under warranty early on since the road force was well beyond spec.

The good thing about these tires is that they can last nearly forever. The set on my 100 series has over 65,000 miles and still about 1/2 tread.

They are also a tough tire and good tread. If they rode smooth, I'd be a very happy customer.
