Does anyone have recommendations for a durable and effective sunshade to reduce heat buildup in the hot sun? Tons on the market with wide range of pricing...not sure if there's any actual function and value for almost $100 for Covercraft or WeatherTech products...

I have three of these, 2000 Land Cruiser, wife’s 2003 CRV
The one for my 2015 Tacoma was purchased in 2012 and I still use it every year.
As they age they roll up easier, only negative is they roll up, they don’t origami any smaller!

I stumbled upon them back in 2002 when I worked as a service advisor at a Honda dealership and we would order these and sell them in the parts department and they were pretty high-quality sunshades and they’re all custom fit to fit that windshield only.

Actually I had one many years ago for my other car and thought it was ok, it didn't last as long as you would based on its price because it lost its rigidity over the years.

I went from the pop tent origami one (love how quickly it stores) to a weather tech custom fit one. The weather tech fits perfectly and definitely keeps out more heat. I’m super happy with it and got one for every car. It is an extra few seconds to fold and deploy, but the heat rejection improvement was well worth it.

Looks similar to Covercraft from exterior, is it holding up its shape and form over the years and not floppy? Maybe I will give it a try.

Recently picked up a Covercraft for mine, and another for the wife's car after a similar question and a few recommendations from folks that live in Arizona. They've been outstanding. Previously had Weathertech, which got tossed when some of the glued on velcro closures melted off (and on to hands, on whatever it touched, etc.).
