best engine cleaning product?

what is a great rust prevention product out there. my headers r needing help. also looking for overall exterior engine cleaner. thanks

Most of the stuff they sell at autozone does not seem to work for me. The newer oven cleaners that do not have as many chemicals in them work well especially the green ones. The GOOD oven cleaner you have to be careful it does not work off the paint and eat through other stuff. But works great for cleaning motors prior to painting. I usually get it for a dollar a can, I am cheap.

Rust prevention on headers? Give it up, paint won't last. Ceramic coating like Jet Hot but pricy.

Best engine cleaner? Depends on where you are starting and where you want to end up. Hot p-washer usually does the trick.

Always used Wesley White Wall cleaner from Advance, Auto Zone, etc., works really well on engine parts, grease, rubber.

I have had good results with Castrol Super Clean. Also, x2 on pressure washer with warm/hot water. Blasts dirt and grease away effortlessly!
