I forget how fortunate I am sometimes to live a stones throw from New Belgium.
Drinking some Fat Tire out of the can as I type this.
I saw that the Ranger IPA is also in cans now, along with sunshine wheat.
Dales is great too.

Gloat all you want you drive a 100 series :flipoff2:

Got a 12-pack of Fat Tire shipped in this week. yum.

That said, there's a very, very, very limited edition beer that was just released yesterday called Ry(e)an Ale. It's only available at Julio's Liquors in Westboro, MA. Not in a can but it's amazing stuff. Aged in bourbon barrels that the store bought from distilleries and brewed at Smuttynose. Insanely good. Makes Fat Tire taste like Budweiser.

I like the fat tire in cans. The sunshine wheat in cans tastes kinda funky. I guess I'm lucky that I can just go down to the local liquor store and get it.

funny thing is most people are finding that the beer in the can tastes better than it's counter part in a bottle. My favorite beers will never be in a can so I'm looking for something tolerable.

It's mainly because beer can technology changed by adding a coating on the inside to eliminate the "can" taste. Boddington's and Bellhaven come in cans as well. Add my vote for Dale's Pale Ale....I very good hoppy ale.

Dave, where the hell have you been? I thought maybe you dropped off the planet after the move.

Still here, just no LC :D

Beer sometime?

Based on this thread I picked one of each flavor of the beers from the Dale's brewer. They were all excellent but be forewarned some are a bit dear and some are just plain expensive...

this weekend I'm heading to Holland for some Heineken. So far I've been able to best the last beer so hopefully that trend continues.

I did however see a 12 pack of Schlitz in cans at the store but steered clear of that one.

A couple other stouts some to mind: Murphy's Irish Stout and Double Chocolate Stout - both better than Guiness IMHO. You already found Bodingtons; another fine choice!

Thought I solved that one with a couple of growlers [opa-opa].in the roof top carrier....big mistake the:princess:was not happy with beer soaked sleeping bags:doh:
