Best Bolt on Header back exhaust system For 1996 LX450?

There's a clip of the previous one idling on my website. I just recorded one of us revving this one. I'll try and post it later this afternoon. It's pretty quiet as is. I made the tail pipe end replaceable so adding an option of a resonator in there would be easy. Stainless Exhaust

Thanks^^^^

Thanks for putting the sound clips up, I will be ordering eventually, probably February or March. Looks like a very well made product, I don't really care for the polished look but that will change with use.

I like polish...

where we at with ready to sell.ship these

I cant tell if this is moving the cat placement or not, But keep in mind OP and others for new emission inspection rules in CO Cat's have to stay in factory location.

Otherwise, OTRAMM great looking work!

On ordering/shipping. Fixtures are done so we're ready to go. My shop is tiny with no storage space so we'll be building them as they're ordered. The sets I've built so far have all been local so I haven't boxed a set up to ship yet. I've got boxes on order so I can pack and weigh the next set for shipping estimates. I added a deposit feature to my web page for ordering. On the cat placement question. The front cat stays in the factory location. The rear cat is deleted to make room to loop up over the frame.

Got any pics of that area? I’m guess I’m somewhat local. Did a final price ever get published?

I don't have any really good pics of the front pipe installed. Here's the best one I've got. Price ended up at 1795.00 plus shipping.

I don't currently have any plans to do a 3". Trying to squeeze 3" over the rear cross member without rattles doesn't look fun.

Would be nice if that was an option in the future. Would something like this help? Vertical Transitions on a Bend

Beautiful work btw, nice to have a quality US option. Thank you. Curious if a match-ported stock exhaust manifold comes close in flow to the tubular offerings out there.

Doing transitions like that would make it fit better, but would add quite a bit of complexity to building it. And I'd have to build a second set of fixtures for the 3". I have no idea on the flow difference between stock manifolds and tubular headers. The stock manifolds look like they should flow pretty well. I've got the drawings done for a header flange/turbo manifold, but those are a pet project and waaaaay down on the to-do list.

My truck is the one Ryan has been posting photos of. I got it back last week from him, and I couldn't be happier. The quality of the exhaust is top notch, it's extremely well thought out and executed. My truck is supercharged, and the exhaust that was on it was toast. The throttle response is night and day different, it feels like a whole different rig. I also wasn't able to pass our state emission inspection with the old exhaust, the new one sailed right through. It sounds great, looks great...top notch product!

Finally got the update from ACC Garage:

OK, so all testing is finally done. Our new 1FZFE headers and collector kits are ready for sale.
Made in the U.S.A. out of 304 stainless and hand TIG welded.
Head flanges are port matched, these things flow like crazy.
Our collector pipe will weld to your existing exhaust or a aftermarket cat back system of your choice.
At this time we are not offering the cat back system, there are a few nice ones on the market already.
We also offer EGR plates that are port matched to the head and header, these plates offer factory EGR operation with no CEL.
The header and collector are $1175.00. EGR plates are $175.00 for the pair.
This system works best with OEM head to manifold gaskets.
This system was designed around the 1995 and newer trucks. For early OBD 1 trucks, 1 more O2 sensor port will need to be added by your exhaust shop.
To order please email us at info@accgarage.com. We will NOT be taking orders from any other place, I.E. Mud, Facebook, etc.

We are also now offering 2 stages of performance head for the 1FZFE. More to come on this later.

I would like to thank all for your patience on this header project, it took a lot more R&D than we expected.

Best Regards,

See if you can get a pic from the side behind the front wheel well showing how tucked up it is above the frame rail.
