Oh and Kyle, my brother says something similar when he drinks beer. Something to do with alcohol killing off the weaker brain cells so only the strong ones survive making you smarter. LOL

haha I got a ton of pics coming once I finish this twin stick install + write up. and I haven't broken the same thing twice
I wheel a lot and put a lot of hard miles on the truck, it happens :steer:

He and RBambi.... I wonder sometimes K

J

I don't jump my cruiser like that though, totally different MOs to breakin things :D

Breaking things means replacing weak links with something stronger.

yup, never replaced the same thing twice, which is a good thing I guess :hmm:

I agree!! that will all buff out in the dry anyway, I don't need those brain cells :D

in other news, I hate installing these twin sticks :D its fun and a challenege but it would be nice if the pin didn't fall in my T-case... for the rest of it, I have to fab my own brackets and what not to get the linkage and geometry to work but that is pretty fun and entertaining

and I start a new job on Tuesday turning wrenches at a 4x4 and diesel shop up here in Quincy, so that will eat into a bit of my time in the future.

Good luck with the new job Kyle!

Indeed post pics. I hope you're on break, seeing as it's only your second day...

Haha well this was the damage if the attachement will work. I ran out of time to do this on my laptop. The deer story is pretty funny but long So I need a real keyboard but it involved being flexed out with all the brakes locked on top of the deer draggijg it between the road and the pass side rear tire at speed for 20 feet. And yes I would agree on the magnet for destruction haha first pic is my bumper. Next pic is the deer hair wedged in my bead and the third is the blood stain that is visible. I ran out of time to gut it out that night so I pulled it off the road

replaced the water pump and fan clutch last week, and now I can honestly say my truck is running at 100%! the belt doesn't squeal, I have way better cooling ability and a much quieter truck that sounds really amazing!

in the meantime I have stripped out all the rear carpeting since it is now deer season and I don't want to clean off the carpet should I have to throw it in the back of the truck.

I also have a set of cheapo running lights mounted on the frame as rock lights in addition to a mickey moused reverse light on the roof rack.

the next project is to wire in a fuse block to the rear of my truck for fun stuff like lights, inverters, subs and in the future an ARB fridge

Yup, inner axle was leaking. Nothing like doing a birfield rebuild in a couple hours on a day off from the shop...that and some misc pics from wheeling and deer hunting plus work pics. This month ive put roughly 900 miles on the truck just on dirt and prob 200 on pavement...I need to hike more.

Damn dude. You need some bumpers!

That deer accident looks minimal, but annoying.

Don't you love working on these 24/7? :grinpimp:

Dude I thought you just redid your knuckles last fall? What did you muck up this time or is this from the deer incident?

Haha wrenchin keepa me out of trouble for the most part! And ya I plowed down that deer...you should give me your ARB! Cruisers are infinitely less stressful to wrench on than my damn 2 stroke outboard motors for my boat, I hate thise dang things
