sadly it isnt homemade today. its cans of arizona tea today. im making a pyramid of them now haha got a 12 pack and been pounding them ill take a pic tomorrow when i finish everything. although this stuff is like 90% sugar 2% other and 8% tea

Ill be drinking it well into my diabetes days lol

amen to that. i will not be quitting my sweet tea when im on my deathbed from the sugar content

It isn't the same out of a can unfortunatley... I moved from TX to CO and when I ordered Sweet TEA the people looked at me like I was crazy... I got the respose.." there's Sweet'N Lo, Splenda, or Equal on the table" PHFFT!! Not a clue as to the DESPERATE NEED OF THE REAL THING!!! Morons..

Keep the shims in order.. label them top and bottom per side.. take your time and follow the FSM...

dont put the races in upside down like i just did. im making a whole new thread on ti[s of how to get the suckers out without wrecking them. it involves canned air and a screwdriver.

umhelp on the shims...mine came with new ones. i thought it was just 3 shims per side of the TREs like in the diagram... i didnt label mine

ya lemme finish the knuckle rebuild on this side and ill try and get one up tonight or tomorrow afternoon stay tuned i just took a pic too

stoppin in once more. got the drivers side knuckles rebuilt just waiting for the other side to be reassembled so i can bleed the brakes. so far i have sliced my hands open about 7 times. im on my 10th can of tea (pyramid of empties sitting on the hood) and im about ready to shoot the scrub jay that keeps trying to drop acorns on my head. oh and its about to rain. at this point my advice for knuckle rebuilds is if you have the money to throw around, pay someone else to do it! messy and time consuming but easy mechanically

FINISHED MY KNUCKLE REBUILD!!! super happy, finished it just in time to beat the rain storm coming in. need to bleed the brakes once more then its off to the mud tomorrow with a land rover and an FJC.

too bad machinist cant make it

next up is lockup solenoid and some small things to do. time to load up the truck for tomorrow with all my recovery gear and spare parts

i looked at the weather and it looks pretty clear all day so far. it didnt rain too hard today either so im guessing it isnt washed out


so meet at my house and caravan over with the Range rover Discovery and possibly the FJC? i hae a CB so it wont be a boring drive lol and you would get too see me wander all over the road because i didnt set the bearing preload high enough haha

sent, i just packed all my recovery gear tonight so im set plus winch and tools/spare parts. just need to remember to throw in my coveralls just in case lol its prob gonna be really muddy which will be fun. the sand pit might actually be a challenge tomorrow

went out with the Machinist, his dad, my dad, and another friend in his FJ plus a J**p. also brought a range rover [STRIKE]discovery [/STRIKE] Classic(our grizzled offroad veteran) and we had a heck of a good time!
