Ill do the axle rebuilds and brake upgrades since they aren't difficult. And i just ordered a brand spankin new FSM from Mr. Toyota (Finally). But all the engine stuff (every hose, gasket, other seals, slight rebuild, etc), hell no, id rather not have my first major project be tearing apart the engine in my DD. Ill let that be someone else's problem :)

Ill let people who what they are doing take care of it for me.

truck is getting towed to a repair shop today and dang if i cant find my camera for pictures... i had a bolt break installing a harmonic balancer in my crankshaft. since i dont have the facilities to extract it, im paying a 4x4 and diesel shop up here to extract the bolt and install the harmonic balancer. then im reinstalling the rest of the gear and cleaning the engine block. got my rear pinion seal buttoned up and fixed. it sucks seeing the truck towed but its nice having recovery points to pull me on the rig haha

WTF?

How on earth did you manage to break a bolt for the HB? did you use a torque wrench or an impact gun?:bang:

Lucas oil Power steering stopleak has mostly fixed my PS. its almost summer time so i need to start looking for a second set of rims and tires for sumer. and i need to find money for some front doors to make into half doors

ya she is really cool and its nice having a female helpin on the truck and not one of my other buddies testosterone laced attitude about how his 67 ford with more rust and bondo than metal is better... even if she is a F:censor:D girl.

That was my first cruiser. Lots of fond memories. It was one of my favorites along with my 84 HJ47 troopy. But there came a time when they needed a new home ......
