Belt on A/C condenser broke and I am going to get a new set of belts from Cdan. But, I don;t know what puts tension on that belt. I know one of you guys knows.

THanks and here's hoping my condenser is not frozen.

The AC compressor mount should have a tensioner built in. You may have to move/remove the alternator to she where it is. There is a "tension pulley" underneath the compressor but it is fixed in place and doesn't really apply any tension. It's there more to keep the belt from flopping off when the compressor kicks on.

depends on what year, there are 2 different belts for the 3FE a/c depending on year, 1 style is like the one mentioned above the other style uses a fixed a/c mount and an allthred that you turn to put tension on the belt via a pulley
you can get to it from underneath with a long extension
