We are going to Durango for Memorial weekend. The Iron Horse bike race is a fun weekend long event. We will take the 60 though, hopefully we will get to exlpore some lower elevation trails.

You know you live in Colorado when a lower elevation trail is in Durango (6300 feet).

Yeah... You win for sure. Is that really where you started? How much did body and paint cost? Were you able to kill the rust bug for good?

Alpendubber took me to a local spot yesterday that was awesome. I have gotten so focused on camping with the family I haven't gone "wheelin" for the fun of it in a long time. We rallied up and down some gullies that I wouldn't have tried on my own. Eric showed the way and bullied his rig through some stuff that I thought were going to be impossible. The SOA makes all the difference when trying to creep and crawl up and down stuff. I am ready to again whenever...

Ugh. The frame was sand blasted and epoxy coated. The entire body was replaced! That includes the tub and front clip! There is NO rust. Mostly because anything rust like was replaced. Its been a long road, but thanks to Robb Lassman at Radd Cruisers is certainly in order!

I piciked up the OME suspension at ARB in Seattle before I brought the truck up to Radd Cruisers. Because of the 50 gallon Opposite Locke fuel tank I went with the OME heavy duty rear springs. Because of the heavy HZ engine, ARB bumper with 24V M12000 Warn I plan on putting in I went with the OME heavy duty front springs as well. Hopfully she'll settle a little bit and smooth out a little after some miles.
