beautiful 77 pig on ebay in SC

Looks like it is in Beaufort, Marine Officer sticker on windshield.

Anybody near there that can take a look at it? Very nice.

I didn't post up in the main for sale section, even though I am not a Upstate member, I do want it to stay somewhere nice.

I just talked with the guy selling (Rob), he said he is getting rid of it because he has a brother in Australia and he is getting one sent over.

Turns out this is the Houston landcruiser club presidents old pig, he was the second owner and did all the work on it.

I asked him if the rear window works, and it does, its just down because he has the orange for sale signs posted on it.

No power steering

Has 16 inch splits

No vibes, miles are original, engine rebuilt, doesn't have any reciepts for any of the work.

He said he drives it about once a week and has only owned it for about a year.

Figured you guys would want to know. I have to pass on it, not enough $$ right now, man I wish I had the cash. He has it listed locally for his buy it now of 12,500. I bet it sells before the auction is up.

lol, I did not know it was on ebay.

I stopped and looked at this one yesterday. It's a beautiful 4-footer. I only looked at the outside, so I have no idea about the engine or door jambs.

the good:
*The undercarriage looks in great shape
*nice bumpers
*perfect interior (not sure if OEM)
*new looking paint
*newer looking suspension
*brand new tires
*new front turn signals lights

the possibly bad:
*there was rust peaking out behind a few spots on the paint; the front edge of the hood had rust spider webs for about two feet. the roof drip edge / seam had lots of rust spots showing up. lots of over spray on door rubber and door jamb locks, wheel wells, and here and there...
*I'd say most of the bolt on exterior vents and lights would need repainting or some TLC, they looked aged compared to the new paint.

overall this is a very nice pig.
