I was on the way home 11:30 at night this 2000's lotus elise has been driving like an asshat on the highway following me. We took the same offramp that leads to lights and straight aways. We pull up at a set of red lights the dudes revving the ever living piss out of his engine that has a exhaust that sounds like an angry swarm of bees. I normally would not ever consider racing the LX but I figured why not.
Light goes green I am immediately out on him by a car length and change, after a certain amount of time I am in front by a car length and let off. He did the ricer fly by staying in it for another 10-15 seconds then slams on his brakes to sit at a red light.
I just made me laugh super hard that I beat a purpose built sports car in a massive truck using only 3/4 throttle.
On a side note that was one of the worst sounding cars I have ever heard in my life, my ears are still bleeding. If this post is against forum rules I apoligize in advanced.
