It's raining at Beasley too. I'll call Friday to the USFS and see if Beasley will be open. Friday is only a 30% chance of rain with Sat and Sun sunny and no rain. Hopefully it will dry out enough to keep this from being a bobsled fest. Been there, done that, don't wanna do it again (especially with the :princess: in the FJ).

Either way the :princess: and I are going camping in the mountains. Maybe we will head up to Snowbird to do some wheeling if Beasley is closed. It is less than an hour away from Beasley.

You are thinking about the right place. You have to either be a member, or a guest of a member. I can get between 1-4 members together which = between 5-20 slots for guests (people, not vehicles). I'm waiting for a call back to see who many guest slots I can get together last minute. Cost will be $25/guest per day.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'd like to see somewhere new, but unfortunately Snowbird is way out of the way for me so I am out. You guys have fun and take lots of pics!!!
 
If you end up just camping, join us at Shining Rock...we will be backpacking, but going in at Black Balsam...(wheeling...?) you are welcome to camp with us.
 
Steen, BooT, and others - it looks like we are aiming for Snowbird now. I'm just waiting to get the go ahead from my buddy who is a member and I'm working on a head count. If you want to go to Snowbird please post up the number of people in your group, including yourself.

we are at 10 people who have stated they want to go to snowbird. That necessitates 2 members which should be ok. I will know more tomorrow. In the mean time if anyone else wants to go please post up and i'll put you on a waiting list but we might be able to get more members so the waiting list might change to a 'go' list.
