Hello,

I am getting my bumpers, rack, and sliders re-powder coated. As we removed the Sean Huston rear bumper and disassembled it, we found that the bearings in the swing outs are toast. The bearings don't have any legible numbers on them for me to try to match them up.

I searched the Forums for Sean Huston, Huston Fabrication, etc. but can't seem to find a way to contact him.

Any ideas on how to get a hold of him or does someone know what bearings these are?

Thanks in advance for the help from this community.

You could measure the ID (bore), OD, and Width of the old bearing then search for that size Example: 20x47x14 (mm)

Thanks, that will be my fall back plan if I can't get a specific part number. The bearings are pretty hammered and falling apart so I hope I'll be able to get accurate measurements if I it comes to that.

Can you post up a couple of photos of the old bearings (each side and standing up, with a ruler next to the bearing)?

OK, so roller bearings. There appears to be some stamped lettering still visible, can you take a wire brush and/or a 3M Scotchbrite type pad to remove
some more of the rust over the lettering?

Just at a casual glance, those look like motorcycle headstock roller bearings to me, which would make sense as they see similar types of force. I'll bet All Balls Racing could help you out, just based on dimensions.

The Dexter 010-019-00 is a seal for a trailer bearing. There should be more (smaller) lettering on the bearings themselves (see photo in robnicko's post above)

Cleaned up the bearings again just to be sure and there aren't any additional markings. I will try to take them to a trailer shop today to see if they can help me match them up.
