Anyone ever installed beadlocks on their factory aluminum wheels? If so, lets see some pics. I'm currently designing steel and aluminum beadlock kits for my shop. Do you think there is a good market if the price is right? Should have some pics soon.

Hre are 2 that offer that service. There are a couple 4Runner owners that did that-looks good.

I'm running internal beadlocks on alloy rims now for trail after running them previously on steel. At this point I would not consider a traditional beadlock rim.

I'm ready for a set for my truck, i have 15" x 8" aftermarket alloys though, Brad.

I have a feeling if I search I will come up with more info. However :flipoff2: You can't just post something like that and not give any more details. :D Gimme some keywords to go search for at least!

I ran them for a while, but they are a pain. Keep on loosening up and breaking the bolt heads off. That would be the reason they are not DOT approved. DId not figure it to be worth the effort for a street truck. However they do look cool.

are those the ones I found on Ebay and you picked up? man that seems like along time ago ;)

See the cruisergarage etc. Have posted them before. I used tireloc internal beadlocks, but have replaced them as I move to another rim size (they are rim size specific). Am going alloys over steel as I no longer think there is any substantial net benefit in running steel on trail.
