My buddy and I finished installing our lift! The springs were used BDS with 2.5" shackles in the rear and 1.5" shackles w/ 2 degree shims in front. Took her over a moderate trail today and she did great!

THanks - been meanin' to ask you what color your rig is. I know every monitor is different, on mine it's a really cool butterscotch/carmel/gold color.

Do you mind if I ask how much the BDS kit cost you, and where you obtained it?

Nice man! I've been runnin the 2.5" BDS springs with 1.5" f&r shackles and 35" MTR's. I love the setup. The springs have broken in real nice, but are goin on my dad's 60 to make room for SOA. I like the BDS kit, and it was fairly inexpensive.

Here's to more clearance

Yoda Frick good to hear your taking that step over to the dark side :) PM me if ya need any help, or just call your bro to get a hold of me.

Gulp3000- it is SADDLE TAN (its kinda weird it has a creamy look to it like worthers or somthing) im still trying to figure out if it is going back to brown or im just gonna keep it this color and run a black section down the runners somthing like the ferg has done.
thanks

Doc- I got my BDS kit throug my buddy Kina in N.H. He runs North Country Cruisers out of Madison, N.H. The springs, bushings, u-bolts, and sway bar links were around 850-900 I think. I can get better pricking if you are interested. I also ordered greasable pins, 1.5" shackles, and u-bolt skids so the whole lift cost me like 1200 I think. Def worth it and I am really impressed with the kit. :D

-Yoda I'm headed out for the big 'off road' test this weekend, so I"ll let you know. My interest in lifting will be directly proportional to how many body panels I crush.

Actually, it'd be more for the ability to run 33's than anything.

Af course, then I need 4.11 gears...

I bought the springs, Ubolts and extended swaybar links used on ebay for dirt cheap. Bought some bushings, shackles and shims from SOR and CCOT.
