Glow plugs are on a manual switch, the edic system still works properly.
Ok shape for a canadian truck, not perfect by any stretch but you knew that.
There's crustiness to the body, it's been repaired in the past, and about 18" on the inside frame rails on both sides that could use some attention. Outer chanels still solid tho.
So it still looks respectable, and probably will for a couple more years without doing any work.
Engine runs like a top, like 3b's always do.
Exhaust system could use some work, it's hokey and basically crap.
However I have a turbo setup I'd been building for my other cruiser , that I can include and it will require a completely different exhaust system ( turbo would want larger tube diameter than the stock size) So I figger the exhaust is pretty temporary, which makes me not inclined to spend much time fixing it.
Good donor candidate, although you could drive it as is for a couple years without too much issue. Probably should throw a r/b kit into the tcase at some point ( has a bit of play on the rear output) and maybe some bearings into the tranny while you're at it , at 427k kms, it's inevitable but it still shifts nice and smooth.

A young feller is coming back with his dad to look at it again this week, he loved it, but his dad gets the final say on whether he can buy it,( likely because it's the dad who'll be doing the work to it...
