We were up there cutting trees with my sister yesterday.

Hallelujah Junction is 4 miles north of the Bug Station, permits are $10 each. I don't have the reg's with me but IIRC there is a limit of two trees per address.
The store is called "Hallelujah Junction General Store - Hallelujah Jct. (530) 993-0110". I didn't get an address but is located about 11 miles east of Loyalton at the junction of Highway 395/Highway 70.

We went into the Ferris Creek area, up Doyle grade and west towards Beckworth. There was a foot or so of snow on the ground on the north facing slopes. On the trip in everything was dry, by the time we came back out the mud had thawed enough to really get our trucks dirty.

The weather this morning predicted a storm coming in on Sat/Sun.

Will there be anybody else in this group running 2m?

Regards

Alvaro

My apologies for the mistake. I could have had poor Ken running back and forth, then he'd have eventually driven back to Reno, and him and his wife would BEAT MY ASS!
Though, Im PRETTY sure my dog would protect me!

Sorry gents,

Chicago

I wasn't trying to give you grief about that, just trying to give people points of reference.

I wonder if Jake would protect me?? Maybe if he could lick an attacker into submission.

Looks like it could be storming up there by Saturday.

What's this I hear about Alvaro not being able to find a Christmas tree? He called me on the way home and said he was stopping at Home Depot to get a tree. There must be BILLIONS of trees out there, and you guys couldn't find one? I think that's too much reliance on new fangled technology like GPS and Ham raidos.

Seriously, I was bummed to miss the fun. Maybe next year. One thing is certain, though, I'll come home with a tree on the roof!
