Selling for $18000. 1971 Toyota FJ40 restoration project - already prepped for a full restoration. Still contains the presumably-original 3.9L I6 and 3-speed manual transmission. The five-digit odometer currently indicates 8,502 miles - we’re unsure how many times it’s rolled over. The vehicle’s paint has been sanded down and primered, so it’s ready for a full repaint. Only noticeable defects with paint: some pitting near the front edge of the hood. All original badges are still present and ready for installation.
As far as the interior goes, everything is here. The seats have been removed (new seats provided), there’s a new dash cover to replace the existing cracked one, and there’s new headliner padding. Other notable items included with the sale are various drivetrain components (see images), the original wheels (tires are dry-rotted), and exhaust components.
We’ve owned the vehicle for almost ten years now, and it’ll make a great restoration project.
