Ride on road is great...factory smooth without the marshmallow feel...no driveline vibes...no camber/caster correction yet. Off road it soak up fire roads like nothing....travel is good and and sure footed

I still haven't put mine on yet since I don't have caster correction, but if you're saying it's not bad I may just throw it on and deal with it later.

i don't have caster correction either... something "isn't quite right" but it's definitely livable... still going to get the kit and do the work, though

i would like to hear what the driving characteristics are like running a rig on wrong caster to make sure it matches up with my symptoms...

Failure to return to center on steering.
Twitchy nervous steering. Those are the typical symptoms.
I do have the new bushings. But the drivability isn't bad. I also wanna get it on an alignment rack to see how off my camber and caster is before I arbitrarily go throwing in bushings that may worsen a condition

yea, that's basically it... a tiny bit of steer under heavy braking too... not like pulling like a brake problem, just a bit of a wobble

it was really squirrelly before i put tires on it, also going over uneven pavement at speeds, but it's 100% better now with new rubber

but still doesn't steer like stock... will definitely install the offset bushings this summer... but as it is, it's nowhere near as bad as driving around with your camber screwed up or your tires shot...

Thanks for doing all the leg work, I just ordered the Springs and shocks also. Downsouthmotorsports.com would only accept $235 though. The Springs came from Amazon, East coast jeeps and came to $328.36.
One question though as this is my first 80, on the caster correction do I need 4 bushings or just 2? Seems like just 2 to rotate the arms down and the rear stays stock bushings, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

The springs should be labeled A and B...a= Aussie and goes on the passenger side ;)

After installing my springs I'm wondering if they started labeling them for the US. Put both "A" springs on my driver's side and my back was over a inch higher in the passenger side and the front is about .75" higher in the passenger side as well. I have since swapped the rears and it's much more even now. I may do the same with the fronts but going to give it more time to settle.

I should point out I have a RHD.

You need 4 bushings. That's what comes in the kit. I also recommend the TJM rubber bushings over the poly bushings.

So basically this is what I should be buying:

TJM XGS Caster Correction Kit $50.31 http://www.andysautosport.com/products/tjm_equipped__66310R.html
ARB OMESD24 Old Man Emu Steering Damper $91.88 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004P9ONF0
ARB 2860 Old Man Emu Coil Spring Front $167.20 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004P9LRQI
ARB 2851 Old Man Emu Coil Spring Rear $167.20 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004P9IBVC
Fox 2.0 Performance Series Shock Front 985-24-070 $230 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fox-Perform...ota-Landcruiser-80-Series-1-2-5-/391123297532
Fox 2.0 Performance Series Shock Rear 985-24-073 $230 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fox-Perform...-Land-Cruiser-80-Series-1-5-2-5-/391078669051

Finally installed the springs and shocks, really happy with them so far.

Really frustrated with the company I ordered the steering damper from as they sent the wrong one which was also missing the hardware.

Post some pics! How even is it front to rear?

Here you go. 285 Duratracs, 3rd row seats still in.

I think it's ever so slightly higher in the rear but it doesn't bother me. It's much less than my FJC was when it was stock which I hated.

That said, you will probably need a spacer if you have a big front bumper with no rear aftermarket bumper or if you aren't loading up the back much.

I'm planning bumpers front and rear, sliders, and drawers for storage and sleeping so will probably get the heaviest springs and go from there.
