I got a 750W inverter to power, looking for a deep cycle battery to hook it up to. Instead of a generator, which would'nt see much use in Hawaii with our stable power, I was figuring this could power some basic stuff for the rare outage, or if I need portable power. Also, i could use this to jump a car if theres only one car at home. So, I need sugguestions for a good deep cycle battery that wont crap out on me when I need it most. Probably won't see rugged off-road use, but may see pretty deep discharge. Optimas? Our Sams Club has the yellow tops for $171

You can either get an Interstate Group 29 marine deepcyle battery or a Group 31 Optima blue top. the buletop is sealed so you would not have to worry about leakage. The group 29 has more amps to supply.
