So, cold cranking amps... How.many do I actually need?
The dead Interstates coming out have 800 but Sears Gold have just 700. Do I need ti jump up to a Platinum and go with 800.

Sent from my thing with Woody's junk.

The overall CCA isn't going to be that big of an issue when you have the right group size - which is Group 27C.

PS Please put your location in your profile, rather than "in the basement" it's very helpful when communicating about parts needs and availabilities.

The temps you will endure in winter should also determine battery size. Getting the glow and cranking systems working properly before the northern winter sets in means you wont be one of the dozens that hit this forum every year with frozen balls and a landcruiser that wont start.

Is it a 24volt or 12v aussie type?

I usually get the biggest cca that will fit in the battery tray, but I was a bit short on cash last time,so Im using 2 bosch 660cca
