Funny as heck ain't it. :grinpimp:

I was hoping someone else was going to step up and relieve me of that duty. A steady diet of crow must get old. :grinpimp:

Knew I could count on you Gundy. ;)

We all know that the NIT final 4 are better than that silly 66,67,68,69 stuff.
CU had a good team this year. I'd say they were a top 30 at least
by the end of the post season when all is said and done.
That's WAAAAAY better than Odumb's lamecocks. Not that that will make
anyone feel better. :grinpimp:

Yeah I'd say around 25-30 as well we had our good stretches and bad. I mean if WVU would have missed a damn 3 pointer it might have been a different game though. They ended up shooting like 60% from 3. Time to really focus on spring football and baseball.

Not much of a Gator fan but they have my Congrats.

I enjoyed seeing OS get beat more than the Gators win. :grinpimp:

Pretty incredible run for the champs......Repeat in B-ball as well as Football and B-Ball champs in the same year. Not to mention beating OS for the fottball and last B-ball titles.

Did I mention I don't care for Ohio State? :flipoff2:

Odumb gets a local: Mr. Basketball in South Carolina is Mike Holmes, a 6-9 forward from Lee Central in Bishopville. Holmes has signed with South Carolina.

He led Lee Central to the state title as a junior then enrolled at Oak Hill (Va.) Academy before deciding to return home for his senior season, where he led Lee Central to another 2A state title last month. Holmes, ranked among the nation's top 50 seniors by most publications, had 20 points in his team's 38-27 championship win against Greenville Southside.
Experts are already predicting he will be able to return to Gamecocks to
the promise land. Look out, another NIT invite could be in the works.

LOL....OK, so I made up the last sentence. ;)

He's just slightly ahead of Stitt. To bad he has no talent around him. :flipoff2:

LOL, just wanted to keep you honest with your claims of superiority. :grinpimp:

Oh, and check out how Wake's incoming class next year ranks compared to Clemson's and get back to me. ;)

According to Rivals neither Clemson nor Wake is in the top 25 in recruiting for mens bball for their 07 classes so whats your point?
http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=608798

Ah man, you still make this WAY too easy. I wish I still had the time to do this all day long but don't so here goes for now...

What's my point you ask? That Jeff Teague is a higher rated PG that Demontez Stitt. That was it.

But while we're at it and since you include other inaccurate claims in your post...

Wake DOES have a top 25 class (unlike Clemson :flipoff2:). The old link you attached is from Nov. before an addition to the class. Also, we're still in the running for a top 10 player who has yet to sign. That would give Wake a top 10 class. More current link: ;)

Check out Wake's returners vs Clemson's and get back to me. 4 of 5 from the NIT runner up vs 4 of 5 from the sub .500 11th place team in the ACC.

I love how you now use the NIT as something to gloat about when all you've ever done is give David crap because his team was in the "Not Important Tournament" or whatever drivel you decided to spew that day. 2 gems for reference: ;)

2 straight NOT IMPORTANT CHAMPIONSHIPS for the cocks and you still cant beat one of the traditionally worst bball teams in the ACC.

Keep Odom around without him USC wouldnt have been able to claim they were the 66th best team in the nation the last two years. Those are the only championships USC has won in who knows how long.

At least USC won the champiomship(s).

Finally, as far as you getting back to me or me getting back to you, Wake is young (also with a top 20 signing class last year (2006)) and with the #2 big man / top 20 player nationally already committed in the 2008 class, we will be back.

Check this out and get back to me. Because as bad as Wake was, this has to still hurt. If you had won this one game, you most likely would have been in the NCAA tourney. Glad Wake could help. :grinpimp:

Wake wins 16th straight game against Clemson at home

Feb. 14, 2007

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -Michael Drum's putback with 3 seconds left lifted Wake Forest to a 67-65 victory over Clemson on Wednesday night and denied the Tigers their 20th win of the season.

In its third decade of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, Gatorade joined with RISE Magazine to name senior combo guard TREVOR DELOACH of SALUDA HIGH as its 2006-07 South Carolina Boys’ Basketball Player of the Year.
Deloach averaged 31 points, 12.3 rebounds and two blocks this season, capping his career as Saluda’s all-time leading scorer with 2,176 points. The 6-foot-4, 180-pound Deloach led the Tigers to a 16-11 record and runner-up status in Region III. The Class AA Player of the Year, Deloach draws strength from his mother, Phyllis, a former high school basketball standout who returned from losing her right hand at age 17 in a car accident to play her senior season at Saluda High.
Deloach has maintained a 3.03 GPA in the classroom and participates in multiple peer-leadership initiatives in his community. Deloach serves as mentor for his Pleasant Hill Baptist Church youth group, and still finds time to work as a part-time bagger/stocker at a local supermarket.
"Trevor’s biggest attribute is he’s a scorer," said Saluda head coach Jimmy Kinard. "He’s strong enough to get to the basket against bigger players. He can also step back and shoot the 3-pointer. He’s a solid defender as well, but his real strength is adjusting to how he’s being defended and putting the ball in the basket."
Deloach will attend the University of South Carolina on a basketball scholarship this fall.

Deloach lamented that he will have to endure at least one year under Odum
as his head coach. "I'm hoping they run Coach Dave out of town by my
sophmore year and the school will get a real coach to replace him. I'm
a Gamecock and that's why I'm coming to USC. It's certainly not to play for
Mr. NIT".

(OK, so I added another sentence or two.) :grinpimp:

BIG Day for the Deacs in Hoops Recruiting!!!

:bounce: :bounce2: WHOOOO-HOOOOOO!!! Big day for the Deacs in 2008 Hoops recruiting!!!! :bounce2: :bounce:

Wake rounded out the 2008 class by adding 2 more 5 star prospects to bring the total to 3 ***** players resulting in a top 5 class!!! :grinpimp:

http://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewrank.asp?ra_key=1617

Overall rank - 3, 10 and 18 and 1, 2 and 3 in their respective positions.

Combined with the 2007 top 25 class, Wake should be coming out of the basement and heading back to the top!!!

Even better that Aminu broke Georgia Tech's heart by committing to Wake today, esp. since his older brother plays there and they thought it was a done deal. :grinpimp:

Any G-Tech pain warms my heart! Congrats!
