word to the wise

I put five UNC games with 4 tickets and parking passes up on ebay yesterday. People are coming out of the woodwork and e-mailing me want me to stop the auctions and sell them the tickets. Just amazing. All of them are selling over paid price right now.

Just so you'll prepare yourself, my friend, scalping is illegal in S.C.
Not saying you would ever sell above face value, but, just be
advised that the good old boys at S.L.E.D. snag a few unsuspecting
sellers of tickets each year.

Scalping is illegal in NC too. So is speeding. :D

Thats why you don't sell tickets you sell a very nice pen which happens to have 4 tickets attached to it. ;)

Sounds corny, but that's what I've always done when selling at the event!

Thats what I have seen lots of people do for big games here. Sounds dumb but it works.

Well if you knew my father he doesn't want to do anything that might get us in trouble. And since they are family tickets we chose to do it the legal way. The crazy thing is this is the first year wehave done it. ALl the other years we have just not used the games we couldn't attend

Kudos to the Heels for a huge win at home against Oden-less tOSU and Clemson (and KC Rivers - did I mention he's gonna be good? :D) for dominating Minnesota in the ACC - Big Ten Smack Down.

My Deacs got abused. I figured we'd be lucky to pull out the W on the road but we really showed our youth and inexperience. Oh well, like I've said it's going to be a LONG season in hoops for Deac Nation.

I guess it's a good thing Wake is a football school. :grinpimp:

Yeah heels turned it around in the second half, they didnt look to good in the beginning though. Clemson played fairly well again still shooting a lot of bad threes though. Our press was ridiculous tonight though we forced a ton of turnovers.

Good pub for the ACC after smacking around the Big Televen for yet another year...

BigTen-ACC "Challenge"

Someone had to bring this up---does this even make sense anymore? The Atlantic Coast Conference completed its annual domination of the BigTen Wednesday night, bringing the overall series record to 8 wins for the ACC, 0 for the BigTen. After a few close years, the ACC has really opened up the gap between the conferences:

YEAR ACC BigTen
1999 5 4
2000 5 4
2001 5 3
2002 5 4
2003 7 2
2004* 7 2
2005 6 5
2006 8 3

They need to change the name to include the fact that we whip them every yr.

We haven't had good basketball since I was at CLEM. The Rick Barnes days, and there were never as many tents out at littlejohn as then. Too bad he dropped us like a hot potato for UT. O'liver might be a mediocre coach in the ACC yet! I'll give him credit for a good start but that's how Div-I teams are supposed to start. He has yet to have his team tested. I figure if we do alright we'll finish mid-pack in the ACC this year.

Dont hate on OP tad he is easily the best coach since rick barnes. He has increased wins and recognition every yr since he came and he is a damn good recruiter. Mid acc will get us into the tourney for the first time in about 6 or 7 yrs. I think he can bring us to serious contention in the acc before he retires in a few more yrs.

Unranked Notre Dame beats #5 Alabama

Never been much of a college B-ball fan until March comes around, nor have I ever rooted for ND, but they beat #5 Alabama tonight.:bounce:

My cousin is a freshman on ND and had a pretty good game tonight. to #44!

First time I have seen him play.:D

Yeah I watched for a few min good game. I hate when these SEC conference teams think they are so good in bball. They had a good tourney run last yr but they aren't the ACC no matter how bad they want to be.

Tigers pushed it to 10-0 the other night, only 14 unbeatens left in the country and 1 in the ACC.
