Where is it? I have heard of it, but can't place it.

RE

The Barlow Rd runs from Mt Hood to the Tyge Valley..It was the old wagon trail route over the Mt Hood...

Never been on it, but I'd be interested in running it. Any idea where the trailheads are?

I find Barlow crossing on the TOPO maps, but not the trail. Might be up for a trip if it's worth it and someone else is in.

RE

To find it take 26 to 35..Take a right at the sig nthat says Pioneer womens grave..Follow that road to the top(maybe 5 miles)..Barlow rd is in the right..

We were going to do it Sunday but my buddy has to bail..I think it maybe be pretty muddy with all the rain..Not that it would be hard but just makes for a long day of cleaning..

We can hook up and go if you like sometime

Sounds good. I'll shoot you an email. That is a nice area. I have been to Keeps Mill crossing to Kayak the White River. I think there was still a road that crossed the river there, but it was too high to cross it at that time.

Do you guys have 2m radios yet?

The Barlow trail is a fun road. You will not need a 4x4. It is very pretty but that is about it.

Hey guys. I have plans that I can't get out of this weekend but would absolutely love to go the following weekend. I have been dying to go wheeling.

re

I did the road a couple weeks ago..Very easy except all the places where the windstorm last year blew trees down..Who ever cut the section of logs logs much own a jeep or a Samurai..Dang a barely passed through a few of them..Plenty of new pinstripes on the FJ at no cost thanks to the Cascades..lol
