Oh yeah. Here we go….

I knew this rig looked familiar. This was one of my favorite EP threads back in 2010. Love people who really drive their 40s.

This thing has an old set of drawers in the back that had served their purpose and I was allowed to toss them. The sticker is great.

Found this tucked away. It’s sharp too

Next I pulled the seat out and gas tank. I was shocked there was no brass under it but I did find a $2 peso, a bobber and some blistex.

I like the early navigation as well

I’m trying not to look too close at all this for now. Compartmentalization is best for me

Is that a 10mm? Those things always go AWOL.

Man it’s hot out there. I pressure washed the grease off the hump. Some maniac cut a huge rectangle out of it for the 3 speed shifter.

Washed the outside of the fuel tank fully expecting to have ti take it to get boiled out and man. It’s clean as a green bean inside. I even found the OEM gas cap chain inside.

New OEM sending unit added. I don’t think any of the gauges worked by the looks of all this crap that was added over time. Hopefully I can fix all that

I scored these long jump seats local and they should not be hard to make fit around the roll bar but he’s trying to decide in these versus a kid friendly flip and fold bench seat.

My 2cents: Flip and fold is great for wheeling, but for around town and ice cream runs, all the kids think the jump seats are super cool. Plus you can pack 'em in. Safety, not so much.
Safety third
