I have run the Tough Dogs on my 2013 -so it was a natural choice for me to go back to them... I truly do find that on the trail, once you adjust them, and air down -the ride is smooth!!!! thanks to @reevesci for all the help!

-so... now I have 2 sets of 200 series shocks that I will never ever use .... I have brand new (50 miles) 2018 front and rear shocks and struts & panhard bar and 2013 (60k miles) front and rear shocks and struts -plus panhard bar for both....

Do let me know if anyone out there can make use of them .... acceptable currency ---->

I LIKE IT!

WOOF!

Your cruiser looks great! I’m thinking about upgrading the suspension on my 2016 and Tough Dog seems to be a popular option that won’t break the bank or require a lot of maintenance down the road. Always been an OME guy but might try something different this time.

Couple of questions - what springs did you go with (assuming light duty with factory bumpers)? Also, your truck looks pretty level in the pics - any rake front to back? I’ve got the Toyota strut spacers installed already and am wondering if I’ll need them up front to keep the rake minimal. Lastly, after settling how much lift did you end up with front and rear (and measurements if you have them)?

Thanks in advance!

fwiw, I believe @pfran42 has cv clamps from mcmaster in some sort of kit, iirc. May be of help to someone in future.

What got me was when I went to lift up the box of stock suspension parts after the lift. Thing was heavy!

Looks great!!

Thanks for the pics! I got my 2017 and I'm waiting for the tires to wear down as well. I was literally just thinking that they aren't m+s afaik and they'll prob be crap up here in the snow.
