I was crawling under the Cruiser today and was noticing some oil leaks. #1 My seal where the differential meets the u-joint on the front driveshaft is leaking oil (see picture). Is this seal replaceable? #2 I found oil leaking out of the bottom of the transmission and upon further inspection I noticed a small hole/chip in the bottom of the transmission. (see picture) How bad is this??? It also seems like a cap/cover is missing from the front of the transmission. (see picture) The open trapezoid shaped hole. Is something missing here? Also observed that compaired to someone else's cruiser that either A: My front driveshaft is installed backwards or B: I don't have a stock front driveshaft (see picture). Which is it? Also I can see where the driveshaft has made contact with the sway bar and wore a whole right through the slip yoke cover (see picture). This did not happen since I have owned the rig. I noticed it when it was up on the lift after the lift kit was installed (there wasn't a lift kit on it before). With the longer travel shocks the front driveshaft was just resting on the sway bar. That is when we put in spacer blocks. How the heck did the original suspension allow enough travel for the driveshaft to rub on the sway bar??? Again this happened before the OME lift kit was put on.

Thanks guys for any input!

Crap that DS looks bad.

pinion seal is replaceable, have a big torque wrench?
trapezoidal thing came plugged from the factory with a cover
small hole is factory too, drain hole for whatever leaks you have inside.

so that small hole is supposed to be there? It's not really round or have a "normal" shape - The edges are sharp. Is it really bad that cap/cover for the transmission isn't there?
