Long story, but got tired of dealing with the flashing light on the dash.
Pretty easy because of Toyota engineering; Bought a manual J-shift transfer case form a 2000 4runner and the drivelines off the same donor vehicle to make them fit.
Phase one complete.

Then bought a complete kit from Yotamasters to covert the front diff to locking hubs.

Even comes with new axles.

I took the cover off the front ADD and locked it up and everything is golden now, super happy with the results.

Interesting. Mine is blinking too. The front axle is stuck unlocked but I effectively have all wheel drive.

Pretty sure mine has a short in the wiring harness and this seemed more simple than going down that rabbit hole...

Nice job splitshot! Hopefully this solved your ADD issue!

Wish I'd known you were doing this swap I've got two brand new OEM manual hub CV's sitting in my garage!
