While a few new I was lurking mud- searching almost immediately after sale of the troopy, I have climbed back in the saddle. The new cruiser comes curtesy of a 2 day 1350 mile/20 hr drive. It is also on a completely different spectrum than the troopy, well cared for-both in visible condition and documented care by Toyota dealership. Thanks to powderpig and krzyabncanuck for advice in finding the series of cruise that would fit my lifestyle and needs: 2003 with 140k .

After driving it to nc and then to Ohio, it has proved itself. Mary and I spent Sunday detailing it in preparation for ohio winter.

The only guaranteed modification is a front ARB deluxe bumper w lights to deal w Ohio driving and weather.

Welcome back Quinton. Way to carry on the clean white cruiser tradition. Enjoy!

Nice! Won't turn quite as many heads, but that's the tradeoff. Good looking hundy.

Beautiful!!

Glad to hear you got another truck man. Coming out to the Meet and Greet in December?

you ride a saddle in that thing?

Looks way too cushy. We need to get that thing on some 35's at least.

The cruiser's main job will be my daily driver and serve as the expedition vehicle or transporter of gear & family to start of expedition.
No 35s will travel on this cruiser. In current research mode trying to decide upon 31-33 tires to provide both dd. fuel economy and winter & expedition capabilities.

Hey Quinton, glad to see that you got yourself another LC.

I put a set of 33's on Ashley's 100 shortly after we got it and so far I have been happy with them. Noticed a little drop in mileage but nothing drastic. Its been a while but if I remember correctly they were Bridgestone Duelers. Mildly aggressive, but still rides smooth. Nice 100 too by the way, white is my favorite color.

I like the white too, Q! Jackasses on the rode can see you better IMO.

Congrats on the new baby hauler...but will the huskies fit in the back?

Nice score! Where in Ohio are you moving to? (BTW Most all of Ohio has snow plows and salt, so the roads are generally clear - grew up there and lived there for +30 yrs.)

The malamutes have claimed the cargo area as theirs. They are negotiating w me about the drawer system-thinking outback drawers. They are becoming quite protective of their space as they have heard a little musher is on his/her way.

While I want to come to the meet n great, Mary and my mom would kill me as the baby shower is that weekend. Apparently since I keep working in NC, 4 out of last 8 wks, I must be home in December.

Mary moved to Cleveland in April and I sold the farm in july and moved us with Al's much appreciated assistance August 1st. We just purchased a new farm in Chardon and close/move-in on November 6.

Chardon - have fun! That is primo lake effect snow country.

When I lived in Cleveland Heights, if we got a foot of snow, I could count on 18" in Mayfield where I worked, and 24" or more in Chardon.

The 100 will be very very useful there!

Exited for the snow to arrive. We have entered the wet season w gray days and precipitation of some form each day.
Sergeant pepper just returned from dealer after tracking down an electrical gremlin, which had the lights turning on after shut off or in the middle of the night. Replaced all of the windshield moldings and the junction box at the driver left foot area. Gremlin died and I am quite happy about its death.

It has been some years and I have had some time on my hands results in me reviewing this thread. Here is how she sits these days. On 33 terra grappler g2, freshly installed Dissent roof rack, and a CVT Mt Rainer Extended RTT. Plus a few other mods you may be able to see. Oh and if you have any guesses as to what mary and I status is...

I realized that my ending sentence might be misleading. Mary accepted a job with her old boss and new company, Versant Medical Physics & Safety, in November. She started her new job in Meadville, PA. In December. Consequently we are selling our Va mountain house and moving again.

Moved the CVT MT Rainier on to our new trailer night. Buying the trailer and moving the RTT on to it is a huge game changer. Some of you may recognize the trailer from Logan’s run 2019. It was a police speed radar trailer. It now has a additional battery, 3 USB Outlets, 2 cig outlets, rear led flood lights.
