Axle questions

i drove an soa fj40 to california with 35s on it back in the 70s along with 2 other stock 40s and we ran rubicon with some jeep guys and drove them back home and didnt break anything .when we got back i went to 40s for the next 30 years and only broke a birf trying to tow a dozer .i think folk underestimate what these can do or read to much on the internet .not being an ass hoping to get out west agin this summer to see for myself what this is all about
