I am planning to covert a 2000 LC100. Has anyone done this already? I need to know what the diff ratio's are (auto and manual). Is the auto box longer than the manual (ie: prop shaft length, mountings ect) Also, Is it just a case of disconnecting auto box ECU, or do I need a manual ECU. Am I correct to assume transfer box will bolt straight onto the back of the manual box. Reason for conversion, can't find a manual VX in UK. Plenty of auto's to choose from. Few GX's about, but these seem to have been used as tugs.

This seems like a freakin nightmare. My advice, keep looking for a manual from the factory. Get in touch with a broker and he can search the auctions for you.

Did this ever happen? Looking for threads about fj100's having manual trans swaps
I've seen a few threads. Looks like the ECU's are different, and you'll have to source a new bell housing from overseas to fit the factory 5 speed.
