Due to the lack of information on my Imported from Australia 1982 RHD FJ45, I need to ask one of our brothers from down under a tech question.
The FJ45 has brake drums front and rear and the rear is full floating, no disc up front. We were looking on the axles housing to see if we can find what the gear ratio's are without pulling out the 3rd to see. Can someone from your side of town give us a heads-up on what they maybe, 4:11 or ?
Vin FJ45334535, 1982
Also if any of you folks in Australia can lead us to finding a owners/glove box manual (from Toyota) a copy for this year we would be glad to pay the costs.
PM me.

Thanks Much
DW

Rear Diff

Yeah, your right they are 4:11s. Now we will get ready for the change over to the 3:7 ratio gears.
I like the tank like action off road but feels like I need an extra gear while on the highway.
Still need help on data about this truck from Australia. If anyone can help me in that area I would appreciate it.

Thanks to all you guys for the help.
DW
