Aussie Canopy on a 45?

This is a non-purist question but ... I know canopy's on the back of trucks are a popular aftermarket option in Australia.

Just wondering if anyone has done one over here?

Ive seen that Mainline Overland has starting importing one made by NORWELD in Australia. They showed it off attached to the back of a Tacoma at Overland Expo East this year.

Here is the canopy I'm referring too:

I've always thought a tray-back with drop down sides would be more functional than a regular 'style-side' pick-up bed.

Those look great! Always a fine line between form and functionality! Having a 2 seat pickup isn't very functional for me with a wife, 2 kids and a dog but I still want one! :p

I think a full blown aussie inspired camping rig utilizing an FJ45 platform and a rear canopy would be sick -- I must be in the minority though! lol
