We have a choice of two Saturdays in August. Please indicate which date works best for you.

Tech Day

Will be out of town (New York) weekend of 11th and maybe out of town (Pig Run) 25th. If not at Pig Run 25th is good for me.

Raffle truck body work at Mr Thorntons , just a guess.

The plan is to clean up the inside tub, dash and both sides if the firewall (remove surface rust and prime) as well as clean up the motor and get it ready to install back on the chassis. We also need to cleanup the hardtop and ambi-doors if enough helping hands show up.

A side grinder with a knotted wire cup or 3M abrasive stripping disk would be a good thing to bring along.

I realize we are competing with the Pig Run on the 25th, but if you can't get away for the whole day, a few hours on the raffle truck will be much appreciated.

if you have an engine hoist, please post up. Tom's is out on loan and we will need it to pull the engine out of the corner so someone can work on it.

I have Tom's engine hoist. I will bring it, but I'm arriving late morning (11:00-ish) due to an early morning appointment inside the beltway.

Sorry I missed it... again. I had to pick up a trailer. and the guy kept pushing the time back. I will make up for it by my work on the engine.
