August Meeting?

Hello -

Just curious if we have any plans for an August meeting? Looking at the July meeting minutes, it sounded like Guy was a tentative host, but maybe now he's considering hosting the September meeting instead.

Just FYI - I will be attending an all-day training course this Saturday held by NMOHVA. I believe that Steve will also be in attendance. They will be teaching us how to respond to proposed closures of forest trails/roads like we are now seeing in the SF National Forest.

Actually it is not open to everyone. The class size is limited. Evan and I are the only two that I know of from the HDC. If you are interested there were a couple of seats left a couple of days ago, but they may be gone now. They are looking for people willing to spend time reviewing and commenting on this:

The meeting will be at my house on Saturday afternoon at 5pm. Please bring your own drinks and a dish to share. Bring folding chairs if you have them.

The place is a mess right now and looks more like a college dorm than an adult's home so any wise cracks will be dealt with in an unpredictable manner meaning you might get whacked upside the head with the closest metal object.

Jon has the address and the directions. He will update the hdcruiser.org web site with the details. Please post in this thread if you are coming and a head count.
